— The Circuit
The complete test.
Built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and welcoming Formula 1
just two years later, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya combines high-speed
corners, technical direction changes and long straights in a single lap
— which is exactly why most teams have used it for pre-season
testing for over three decades. A car that performs well here usually
has genuine aerodynamic efficiency and balance, not just a fast
circuit suiting it.
Its layout was refined in 2023, restoring a faster, flowing final sector in place of the slower chicane used since 2007 — sharpening the lap and rewarding committed, high-speed cornering once again.
